During this session, we will review the challenges and overarching concerns of the DRAI, which provides limited to no information about a potential donor’s medical and social history. We will compare this with potentially conflicting medical records, circumstances and physical findings to identify effective solutions to the vague DRAI.

Irma Sison, MD, CTBS, is the Manager of the Donor Center at LifeNet Health. Irma began her career in organ and tissue donation as a Donor Center Coordinator at LifeNet Health in 2008. In addition to seven years of tissue banking experience at LifeNet Health, Irma has also held the positions of Manager of Hospital Services and Manager of Donation Services at Nevada Donor Network, Inc. Irma has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry from Old Dominion University and received her MD from De La Salle University College of Medicine.
Matt Graves is the Director of Tissue Operations at Nevada Donor Network. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nevada. He has worked in the medical field for 5 years. He has worked in an emergency room as an EMT and Medical Scribe. Interested in continuing his career in health care, he was given the opportunity to work as a tissue procurement technician at Nevada Donor Network in 2010. He has since fallen in love with the work and mission of tissue donation and hasn't looked back since. He is very grateful to have the opportunity to serve his community through the facilitation of donation in his home state of Nevada.
