Alyssa Harrison has been in the donation industry for over 6 years and has over 10 years management experience. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Adult Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University.
In her previous role, Alyssa was the Executive Director of United Tissue Network. She oversaw and lead all operations while also developing and managing strategic plans and annual operative and capital budgets. She drove tactical business growth through the development of strategic partnerships while ensuring the vision and mission of United Tissue Network remain the key focus of all business activities. Alyssa has gained extensive knowledge of the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), Uniform Anatomical Gift Act, funeral home rules and regulations and all state and federal regulations revolving around NADOs to ensure and drive the protection of all donors and donor families choosing whole body donation.
Alyssa currently sits as the Chairperson of the Non-Anatomical Donation Organization (NADO) Council for AATB and is very active in the NADO industry, including helping improve regulation standards, legislation activities and educational objectives.
