2025 AATB Annual Meeting: Things to Know Before You Go!

The Annual Meeting begins next week, Sunday, October 12 - Wednesday, October 15, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, GA.

As you prepare for this exciting event, please review the key details below. Doing so will help you navigate the conference with ease and get the most out of your experience.
 
Before Leaving Home
What to Wear
Conference: Dress is business casual. We recommend dressing in layers and wearing comfortable shoes.
"Rhythms of the Reef" Social Event: Dress is casual and comfortable for a fun night at the aquarium.

Please Note: Conference badges are required for entry to all sessions and events, so be sure to wear yours.

  • Download the "Eventscribe" app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Select the Annual Meeting icon to launch the event.

App & Website Login
If you are registered for the conference, your login is the email address you used to register for the conference. Your Password (Access Key) was emailed to you on Thursday, September 25, and will be sent again on Thursday, October 9. 

Cancellation Policy
Refunds are no longer available. However, you may transfer your registration to a colleague by contacting aatb@aatb.org.

 

Once you arrive in ATLANTA
Registration & Badge Pickup

  • Full Conference Registrants: Use the self-service kiosks for fast badge printing.
  • Single-Day Registrants & Guests: Pick up badges at the designated registration counter.
  • Early In-Person Registration & Badge Pick-Up: Sunday, October 12 | 11:00AM – 5:00PM ET.

Be sure to pick up your badge early! Conference badges are required for entry and participation throughout the event.

Exclusive Welcome Breakfast for First-Time Attendees
When: Monday, October 13 | 7:30AM
If this is your first Annual Meeting, join us for a special breakfast to meet fellow first-time attendees, learn tips for navigating the program, and get connected before sessions begin. Check the conference app for location and additional details. 

Earn Credits
Educational credits available include:
AATB Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) – 15 CEU max
EBAA Certified Eye Bank Technician (CEBT) – 15 CEU max
Continuing Medical Education (CME) - 3.75 max

To receive credit, you must complete the overall conference evaluation and individual session evaluations through the conference app or website. Please submit all evaluations by November 15. Credits will be automatically added to your AATB Portal Account by the end of the year.

Rhythms of the Reef: Tuesday Night Social Event
Join us for a memorable evening at the Georgia Aquarium!
When: Tuesday, October 14 | 7:00PM – 10:00PM
Where: Georgia Aquarium
Shuttle Service: Complimentary shuttles will provide continuous service between the Hyatt Regency and the Georgia Aquarium beginning at 6:45PM. Return shuttles will run until the close of the event.
Admission & Guest Tickets: Admission to the “Rhythms of the Reef” social event is included with full conference registration. Single-day Tuesday registrants and guests may purchase tickets in advance at the Single-Day & Guest Attendee Registration Desk at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta; tickets will not be sold at the aquarium. This is an 18+ event, and all attendees must wear their conference badge and the wristband distributed on the shuttle for entry.
