Yesterday, AATB representatives and members met with lawmakers and congressional staff on Capitol Hill to advocate for key issues impacting the tissue banking community.
During our meetings, we focused on three key priorities for 2026:
- Addressing FDA’s Approach to Sepsis Screening
- Ensuring Patient Access to Skin Substitutes
- Improving Regulation of HCT/Ps
We are deeply grateful to our members who participated in this year's fly-in, sharing their expertise and passion to help shape policies that will support and protect tissue donation and transplantation. We also extend our sincere thanks to the lawmakers and staff who took the time to meet with us and engage in thoughtful dialogue.
We look forward to continuing these vital conversations and strengthening AATB’s role as a trusted resource in healthcare policy.
