This year, AATB will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the American Association of Tissue Banks.
To commemorate this milestone, AATB will present a one-time honor recognizing 50 individuals whose leadership, service, innovation, and dedication have helped shape the Association throughout its history and have influenced what AATB has become today.
From the earliest days of the American Association of Tissue Banks to the evolution of today’s Association for Advancing Tissue and Biologics, countless individuals have contributed to advancing the standards, accreditation, education, advocacy, and collaboration across the field. This recognition celebrates those whose involvement with the Association left a lasting impact on its growth, direction, and mission over the past five decades.
Honorees will be recognized during AATB Congress 26 in San Francisco, CA, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
